Your Budget

Our custom homebuyers have no need to finance both the construction costs and the purchase price of their home.

Wieland Builders begins working with you once you’ve determined your home building budget. For most homebuyers, their budget consists of the cash they have for their down-payment plus the amount they are pre-qualified to borrow from their lending institution. Many homebuyers nowadays are prequalified up to a full year before building. Note that Wieland is one of the few builders that still absorbs the construction bill. That means our custom homebuyers have no need to finance both the construction costs and the purchase price of their home.

Design and Layout Choices

Once you have a set budget, it’s time to consider your custom home’s design, layout, and lot size/configuration. With dozens of styles and functionalities to choose from, Wieland will help you begin to see what your new home will feel like. We do this not just by showing you photos, but mostly by walking with you through model homes and live builds where you will not only see yourself living your life in a Wieland-designed home but also be able to ask questions about the many custom design features we offer.

Finishes and Details

With your budget set and your home’s design chosen, the experts at Wieland Builders can begin exploring product and finish options with you, to get a sense of your taste for the details your custom home will include. These details include options in flooring, windows, trim, cabinetry, countertops, faucets, and lighting. Our in-house interior designer will walk you through the process of making your selections within 35 days of signing your construction contract with Wieland.

A Quality Build

The most exciting part of the custom home building process is watching your chosen design become a reality within three to six months. When Wieland begins building your home, the company’s owners Jeff and Mike Wieland will make regular visits to the construction site to personally ensure a quality build and to see that your needs are being met in the construction of your new home. Jeff and Mike remain in contact daily with our foremen, contractors, and subcontractors to monitor progress. Our builders will also stay in regular communication with you to keep you apprised of the status of your build and to have you answer any questions that may arise about your custom home’s design and finish choices. Wieland’s warranty manager conducts a walk-through with all homebuyers at 90 days, six months and one year. The purpose of these walk-throughs is to identify any adjustments to be made or issues to resolve – once again – to ensure your complete satisfaction with your custom Wieland home and with the homebuilding and homebuying process.
